NEK DESIGN initiated its activities in 1984 as a naval architect office, and is occupied exclusively with yachts.

Yacht surveys are the office's primary goal since it was registered in the TEE's catalogue of independent yacht surveyors. The surveys are administered on request either of the yacht owner or of insurance companies, in Greece or abroad. NEK Design is an internationally acclaimed survey office.

Surveys are administered in order to analyze the vessel's condition as well as determine its trade value. In case of damage, its extent gets evaluated and a specification of repair is drawn. Complete technical reports accompany the surveys and conclude the work.
